The Red Star's Call

So another picture inspired by Anne McCaffrey's "Dragonriders of Pern" series. Though these characters are actually of my own design. When I was in 7th grade I always use to dream of myself as a rider of a green and so now I draw that dream to compensate the lack of dragons on the world

The title is a reference to the star in the back that should probably be darker bt I just dont like the red look with this pic and I wanted it to be brighter and an oranish yellow fit my idea better >> I sorry if it makes anyone angry

Anywho, I'm really proud of this. I need to work on my coloring skills and I think I'm starting to get a knack for what I need to work on, but I am so fricken proud of the background!! I HATE drawing backgrounds. I always just do a solid color with dots or something >> but I actually did one this time :3 I iz proud.
